| The Truth About MY Mom |
 |
The truth about my Mom is easy to understand,
She is always there giving a helping hand.
When things in my life are not going well,
My Mom is the one who I can run and tell
Through school, work, friends, and guys,
She's always there to wipe the tears from my eyes.
I know sometimes we bicker and fight,
But I know in my heart she is always right.
A best friend as a mother what more could I ask for.
She is the one thing in my life that I truly adore.
On this Mother's Day I wanted to give her something great.
So I write this poem hoping she will appreciate.
I've grown up now and soon will be on my own.
But a Mother like her I know I will always be strong.
From a child to an adult she has been there through thick and thin.
Oh' what a wonderful 18 years this has been.
When she reads this poem I hope she does not cry.
This is a way of thinking her for the years that have passed by.
I wrote this poem for my mother for Mother's Day, even though I told her not to cry she still did :)
